About the event

Join our exciting hand sewing class and dive into all the essential techniques for hand sewing garments!

You'll master skills like: sewing a button, hemming trousers by hand, patching, basic darning, decorative repair stitches, and so much more!

This is an engaging and relaxed environment where you'll learn a lot, but at your own pace; bring along some garments that need a little TLC, and we'll spruce them up together! If you have a thimble and needles, feel free to bring them along and all other materials will be provided, except for the garments/clothing pieces - I'll have a few "dummy" garments for practice, but it's always more rewarding to learn on your own pieces!

Just a quick note: please avoid bringing heavy-duty items like jeans, outerwear, bags, shoes, or upholstery items; if you're interested in those, check out our Denim alterations and repair class.
